I watched portions of the Golden Globe awards yesterday evening and I have to say that I'm truly impressed with what must be rampant generosity among many of the female celebrities. It seems that they have all been so generous in donating to the tsunami relief effort that they couldn't afford to pay for an entire dress for last night's event. Apparently, most of them could pay for the bottom part (it must be cheaper), but all of the dresses kinda ran out of material towards the top of the dress. What sacrificial givers! They set an example for us all. Imagine yourself in their position: you have to go to the Golden Globes, with full knowledge that your family is probably watching you on television, and you only have like 80% of a dress on. That has to be tough. But somehow they manage to eek out a smile and get plastered anyway. What a relief it is that these brave souls are the ones that millions of young girls in America look up to!....
Honestly, people. To all guilty members from last night's broadcast, shame on you. I propose a new theme for next year's awards:
MODESTY: Catch the feva!!
See, everyone would have a 'feva' and thus need to bundle up. So, anyone scantily clad would be out of place and, therefore, lame. Instead of less clothing - *boom* - MORE clothing! Turtlenecks, scarves, mittens, hats - you name it. They won't see it coming.
Who's avant-garde now, suckas?!!

I think these noble women want the Pres to follow suit for his Inaugural balls. Maybe he'll show up in a wife-beater.
Oh, The_Dude, you do know how to make me laugh!
