I always like to holler at you Internetters when I'm travelling... This night I post to you from the great city of San Diego. I'm at a pretty darn nice hotel too if I may say so. My window looks out on to the bay where a great many ships lie docked, waiting for another day of sailing adventures. I took a three minute walk down the street to a spot where they ran out of North America. It was crazy. All that you could see was a flipping huge body of water.... This is the part of the post where a serious blogger would have a great picture of the sun setting into the Pacific that he took with his own camera - dang it! Just picture it in your head or something, you've probably got it about right.
My new friend Walt from work is down here as well, although I didn't get to see him too much because of the requisite nerding/computering. Other people got to go to a luau tonight, but I had to nerd and computer instead. It sucked (actually, it is still in the process of sucking, so perhaps past tense is not appropriate). Anyway, it's back up north for me tomorrow, so the warm waters of San Diego will not last long. Also, I caught the last part of the local news - nothing at all like Ron Burgundy, in case you were wondering.

>>they ran out of North America<<
This line along with the title of this post display the wit of the_dude, even while working late at night in front of the nerd box.
I hear the San Diego Zoo is amazing, will you have any time to roam?
