True to our namesake

In the interests of getting us all educated on the Iran nuclear issue, I suggest reading one Mr. Amir Taheri:

Why Iran Can't Be Trusted.

The article definitely has a high signal to noise ratio (i.e. he cuts through the crap).

Dude:

Sigh.

My blog is back, I guess. It was more an accidental reopening than anything else... but I seem to have been sucked back in.

Sad, non? *shakes head*

Well, anyhoo- stop on by. And happy thanksgiving!

Thanks, the_dude. Straight-forward article that makes a great comparison between Iran and Iraq. The reality is that liberated Afghanistan and Iraq will have to serve as footholds in the Middle East, along with Israel, in order for civilization to survive against the jihadists. Over the next decade, hopefully through these nations, the Middle East will be redeemed. Interesting times to live.
