Stand up for your country

I wrote a post reviewing the extraordinary film “Walk the Line” awhile ago. In my review, I revealed that listening to the movie soundtrack while watching autobiographical scenes from Johnny Cash’s life compelled me to a wholly new appreciation for country music. I even bought my first Johnny Cash cd that same week, and hoped to add legitimate country to my collection while avoiding posers like Kenny Chesney.

Well, my main man Teeftastic has returned from two months of embedded journalism on what he has aptly labeled “The Pop-Country Debacle.” It is a serious and gripping piece that will challenge everything that you thought you knew about life.

Thank you so much for the endorsement, oneway. Apparently, you're the only one who found my piece gripping.
