I admitted I was a comic-book nerd in this post, so I am geeked to learn that Frank Miller is coming out with a new Batman story arc in which the Dark Knight takes on Al Qaeda. (Big Ups: Malkin)
During World War II and soon after its end, comic book heroes frequently battled Nazi forces. But the cultural confusion caused by the smokescreen of secular humanism blinded all art, including comics. The result is that after the United States endured the slaughter of its citizens on an unprecedented scale on 9/11, comic book writers came out with stories of superheroes helping rebuild New York. The glaring omission was any major superhero searching for justice by punishing the Islamic terrorists. Political correctness seized the world of heroes. It takes a nut like Frank Miller to make comics walk again.
You’ll recall that Frank Miller penned two of the most influential stories of the modern comic era: "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Batman: Year One". He struck badly out with “The Dark Knight Strikes Again”, but let’s hope he hits a bomb with his new project, “Holy Terror!”

As a confessed comic-lover myself, this sounds promising. If only it would make it to the screen.
