Someone think of the children

I've posted on similar topics many times before. The reason I am a proponent of small government is because it necessarily imposes a value system on society, often times a value system I, and many others, do not agree with. I do not now, nor will I ever, place my hope in the government. My hope will ever be in Jesus Christ, and in His bride: the church.

The problem is that the government is imposing greater and greater restrictions on the church. While the church has been totally separated from the state, the state has hardly been separated from the church.

I wonder what the church will look like in 50 years. Will it be recongnizable? Will it be sent underground? I'm starting to think that REAL Christian expression will be an underground movement, hidden from the light of everyday society.

The next time I hear a liberal tell me that right-wing Christians should stop worrying about politics and start worrying about helping people I think I will spit in their face.

If the church does not exercise itself politically it will be completely removed from the public square.

How can the church help people if the government will not let it?
