I am merely stating that there are other worthy endeavors to support but that will never receive the attention that the tsunami victims have due to prejudice.
Marcella, although I don't know you, I appreciate the exhortation to do more than inform others of the plight of the Black Sudanese. While rejecting any inferred need to validate my statements with further action, I am, nevertheless, so moved by your eloquence that I have decided to join you, if only for a brief moment, in your model lifestyle of helping all of those that need aid. Thank you, you truly are an exemplar to all.
I will match any amount of money that you send to Care USA. Here is the link:

I'm sure you've already given some, but please join me in this effort if nothing but to encourage me by your generosity. You can email me the confirmation of your gift by clicking on my profile.

In an effort to give fairly and equitably to all peoples and causes, I have pledged to give one millionth of a penny to each of the 6 billion people on this earth (mostly because $600 is about all I could afford), so that if anyone ever asks me, "what have you done for this specific cause/person/movement", I can reply, "Yo, they got my one millionth of a penny, I don't know what else they want from me."
Think of it, if the whole world got together and gave eachother one millionth of a penny, we would all have no more or less money than we did before the redistribution. That would be awesome!
I really liked your argument, though, Marcella. It's a classic manuveur to reinterpret someone's statement, changing the argument or perhaps adding motives that weren't really there, then attack the new weaker argument you created. I also appreciate the use of rhetorical questions instead of arguments, distancing yourself from counter attacks because you have made no claims in the first place.
"That'll show 'em". Very effective in making it appear as if Oneway is boycotting Tsunami relief out of resentment.
"fighting". Again, reinforces the resentment and adds a violent intention. Now he's fighting someone as oppose to giving money away to people who need it.
"The tsunami victims or the media". Now that you've cemented that he's fighting someone, introduce two possible entities that he is fighting as collectively exhaustive. To fight one would be morally atrocious, to the fight the other would be an exercise in futility.
"What have you done", another excellent example of rhetoric. You have successfully painted Oneway as resentful and violent, now undermine the sincerity of his concern for Sudanese refugees.
You have successfully made no real points and made a fairly good attempt at character assassination without actually making a single legitimate statement. *note, a statement must end in a period (or exclamation point), and it can't be sarcastic.
Now let me rephrase your post:
"Yeah, you shouldn't feel obligated to give anymore to Tsunami relief; you've done your part and the situation seems to be amply supplied. That doesn't mean you are betraying Tsunami victims. It's unfortunate no media attention is given to the Sudanese. I'm sure you will consider carefully where your future contributions will go based on the severity of the need, the effectiveness of your contribution, and the support that is already being received."
