A lot of stuff has happened since Wyoming. Here is a short synopsis:
I got to California with Mark at almost midnight. We ate at In n' Out. (He got better pretty quickly.)
I couldn't get into my temporary apartment because someone screwed up. We stayed at a hotel.
I had lunch with some friends located in the Bay area.
I looked at some apartments.
I decided to rent one of the apartments.
I opened a checking account.
I went to Lake Tahoe with Mark for my friend Phil's bachelor weekend along with all the other groomsmen.
We played a lot of videogames. We ate too much at a buffet. Some people lost significant sums of money gambling. Others won a little. More on this later.
We played even more videogames.
This morning, I took Mark to the Reno airport so he could go home. Then, I drove back to Livermore. It was a long drive.
I am slowly realizing that I live in California. Weird.

what did you order at In n' Out? and what video games did you play?
the_dude,
I listened to Aaliyah's "Miss You" in your honor yesterday. Champaign definitely lost some of its allure when you left.
Say what up to Savage for me, he had one of the most hilarious rants I've ever heard yesterday.
Abe, I gave TJ Liberalism is a Mental Disorder for a graduation present so he should be fully prepared to live in San Francisco. I think my favorite thing about Michael Savage is that he got a PhD at Berkeley.

P.S. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out Laura Ingraham on WIND from 8-11 a.m. if your schedule allows it...I've listened to just about everybody and I think she's the best (though not as brash as Savage, she's hysterical and extremely smart).
Nice, T-bone. the_dude told me about the book; I wonder how it's turning out, because in my estimation the best part of Savage is hearing him snap, and I'd be inclined to believe that would be lost in a book.
Laura Ingraham has a decent show from what I've listened to. By far, I appreciate her A/V crew more than her commentary; they put together clips that always kill me. She is toes the GOP party line a bit too much for me at times.
Teej, we'll miss you. Don't forget to visit.
You live in California?! When did this happen?
