Hot Buttered Fool

Issac Hayes, soul singer and voice of Chef on South Park, is quitting the show due to "inappropriate ridicule of religious communities". At first, it seems like a principled move.

But in this article from The Hollywood Reporter.com, we find out that Hayes isn't as cool as it seems:

"In 10 years and over 150 episodes of 'South Park,' Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslims, Mormons and Jews," (South Park co-creator Matt) Stone said in a statement in which he agreed to release Hayes from his contract. "He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show."
What is Issac Hayes' religion? The whiniest one out there right now: Scientology

The scientology episode of South Park last fall was maybe the funniest thing that has ever been on TV.

Even though the show is horribly offensive, to basically everyone, it's still very well written, and hilarious.

Huh... I was going to say that Scientology is very poorly written and hilarious... but it's hilarious for a totally different reason.
